NWoTD - Mironic
Mironic - moronically ironic. As in, a student who should have failed the second grade being forced into third because her parents refused to sign the document to hold her back. If she's not ready for the third grade she needs to stay back.

NWoTD - Horkano
Today's new word comes from combining the words volcano and hork (blowing your nose) thus.
Horkano: when you blow your nose and the resultant flow of goo is like an erupting volcano. Delightful, eh?

NWoTD - Francheese
Francheese - when a previously good television or movie series is spun off into a cheesy direction. Sort of like the addition of the highly marketable Ewoks to the first Star Wars trilogy or the addition of the incredibly annoying Jar Jar Binks to the second trilogy. I'm sure there are dozens of other examples of francheese.
Got a good example of a franchise taking a turn for the cheese (and the money, of course)? Leave it in the comments.
